Thanks Suzanne that’s an excellent roundup and it’s easy to see why you checked them out or at least one reason why. They all have excellent curiosity laden titles.

Tom – you’re absolutely right. I paid attention and made note of what caught my eye and made me click through, realizing that it really is true: Your headline’s job is to get someone to open and read. Your first paragraph’s job is to get that someone to keep reading, and so on.
This is even MORE evident if you go to a site like AllTop where all you see, initially, is the post title. What titles grab you enough to get you to click and open the post?
That’s a good exercise for all of us: Look just at your titles and see if they merit being clicked.
